Finally rounded the course of 10 minutes relaxation. The light dims, playing soothing music, and al

On a Thursday morning in May, the two dads @ leave at Bislett and looking for premises of Karma Babies. In Pilestredet 75C is full of activities like dance school, gym, music, and of course we are looking for are located in something abr800 called "African Culture Centre". In bright, cheerful, abr800 former industrial premises we are met by Maddie abr800 Lama Sjåtil, who runs Karma Babies and holds three different baby yoga classes Tuesdays and Thursdays. abr800
We dads that show up do not know what we can expect. abr800 None of us have participated in yoga before, but by phone, we have been hearing that there is a need for fohåndskunnskaper. We need only meet up with "comfortable clothes", all equipment needed abr800 is provided in the conference room. And yes, it has participated abr800 several dads on courses throughout the year Karma Babies have been doing. Maddie meet us when we arrive, and a group of moms are also in place. We are the only dads this time, but last week there were two dads who attended. Everyone finds a mat in the room, reminiscent of a small school gymnasium, and the atmosphere is relatively quiet and very good. Notice that all the babies (all between 4-16 months) think it is fun with the other babies in the room, and parents that have emerged seem to enjoy themselves. One thing worth noting is that it was a very international gang of course. Of the 12 parents were very few Norwegian. There were parents from Finland, Switzerland, USA, Mexico, Spain, etc., and the language was mainly abr800 English because of that.
Then the fun begins. Maddie is a natural authority with the good order of the group. The first exercise is to massage your baby. After the quiet beginning course continues with various exercises for about 40 minutes. The babies tabs, stretched, swing, rider swath and "fall" abr800 and much more. They sing a lot (most English children songs) and all the exercises have a purpose, whether it is to develop the child's sense of space, strengthen your back, get your stomach to work better, not to mention making little darling safer by strengthening ties to the parent. It develops in other words super-babies, and babies seem to like it! Beyond a hungry young who want milk gradually, it is a well above-average group harmonics children of course.
Finally rounded the course of 10 minutes relaxation. The light dims, playing soothing music, and all the parents relax with a kind of meditation led by Maddie. The idea is that babies take after the parent and settles up for relaxing and it seems to work for many (except some kids who see their chance to crawl away and explore the other kids). abr800
We get the opportunity to chat a bit with Maddie after the course. She says that interest in the course has picked up recently, although there are significantly fewer attending this type of course in Oslo by comparison abr800 with what it is, for example, London and New York that Maddie has experience. In London there is apparently much more common to attend more courses per parent on leave, whether baby yoga, cooking classes for children (no such thing in Oslo?), Baby swimming etc.
Baby yoga definitely get the thumbs up from both dads and baby! Especially for babies, there is little we can draw for such an activity, it is apparently very fun and stimulating. For dads, there is also a positive abr800 element for the leave, but getting a move that is perceived to be more of a "mom-activity" than dads. In assessing the dads who have participated given each score, and then we publish the average of these two.
