Well something's going on in Wedding and it's probably  the most promising Berlin's area lately. That night started rather indifferently, types of led but ended up really surprising. This time I found myself a bit northern than Mitte, at Gesundbrunnen. It was an ordinary Thursday afternoon, I was in front of my computer looking on an invitation to a student party at the main building of my Faculty. Sounds really boring, after being on every single party the past two and a half years. However, it was a sweet occasion to meet up with some friends that I hadn't seen them for quite a long time. As usual we were drinking beers until the guard came at 22:00 to tell us we had to go. A bunch of 50 something people had to leave at once and then I got an invitation to go to a bar close to the S Bahn Gesundbrunnen. F Bar Wedding | Private Photo It was raining, I was almost running out of cigarettes and my pocket contained only some euro coins. Don't really remember, how many...We head for Fos. "Fos" in greek means light...and apparently I was stunned by F Bar (shortly), which is tucked away from a busy avenue over there. The friend of ours told us that here it's a british hub. If you wanna meet UK people in Berlin this is the place... Entering the Bar was pretty crowded, the front half consists of the Bar, few tables and a big window where you actually can relax and start sipping until the morning. For a day like this, it impressed me to be so full, but we are in Berlin, I should have expected to it. The other half is like your living room, triggering you get comfy, booze and chat to your friends. The ceiling is funny, fully covered with paper egg cups, or at least something like a soundproof, that prevent the sound from disturbing the neighbors living above your heads. People have contributed to the deco by using a marker and writing any bullshit crossed their blurred not so sober mind. To my surprise a greek guy, named George, had etched  his moto "Dying for Life" almost everywhere and some greek football cues, even in the WC above the toilet cisterns. types of led Well, this was probably his last night in Berlin and he had fun. He also threatened he will be back, as I am!
The night was quite interesting, as a German friend had come back to Berlin from Greece and had spent some months over there. We were discussing about the current situation in Athens and the countryside as well and that the situation has become really bad. It's good to hear sometimes that people types of led do like the country and don't share their scorn, as Media do. Apart from politics and endless crisis analysis, as far as I remember music was quite good and prices are really friendly too; just for my blog's beer index a small berliner types of led pilsner types of led cost €1.90, whilst the UK imported beers cost a bit more than €4 . I had unfortunately to leave early to catch the last S crossing the nearby station.
