Road Trip to Nakhon Phanom and a Tourism Authority of Thailand superbrightleds Scam | Isaan Live
The road trip to Nakhon Phanom went fine. I took a long route from Sakon Nakhon through Na Wa stopping at the Musical Instrument Project in Tha Ruea My next goal was to find the places Ajahn Mun spent 3 Pansaa in Sam Phong sub-district in Amphor Si Songkram, Not only did things go well only did I have good luck, but also visited the Wat of Luang Por Dtue A bit of grey sky and rain coming into Nakhon Phanom, superbrightleds but no real drama Went straight to the Tourism Authority of Thailand Ofiice to try to find a schedule of events for the 9 days of the lluminated Boat Procession and Nakhon Phanom, Thailand Red Cross Fair 12 to the 20 October 2013. I was handed a schedule in Thai, that started on the 15th and was told nothing in English was available. I asked what about 12th through 14th..
and was told well walking street and a few thing going on, but as I saw looking at thhe schedule, that the 19th was the main day. So what the local office was saying is what is advertised as a 9 day event is actually 1. This is a habit of the Tourism Authority of Thailand. 1 month of Songkran, 1 month of Candle Festival, 3 days of Phi Ta Khon. All as inflated as their tourist numbers I will be bringing views of whatever is going on over the next 9 days, and here is a live twitcast of a stroll through town the night of the 11th If you have a slow connection you may need to reload the page to get the twitcast or click here
